Deadly Science: Wild Weather
From bushfires and floods to earthquakes and tsunamis, extreme weather and sudden changes to the Earth's surface have shaped our environment for thousands of years. This book takes young readers on a journey to understand how these natural forces impact both living and non-living things.
Alongside modern science, Deadly Science: Wild Weather shares how First Nations Australians have documented geological events and changes over generations. Children will learn how this traditional knowledge, combined with scientific discoveries, helps us better understand weather patterns and prepare for natural disasters in the future.

About Deadly Science:
Deadly Science, founded by Corey Tutt, addresses the lack of STEM resources in regional and remote schools in Australia. Fuelled by Corey's passion for STEM and his experience of limited opportunities for Aboriginal people in this field, Deadly Science provides resources and learning experiences to bridge this gap. Corey's initiative began with personal efforts to support schools, leading to the establishment of Deadly Science in 2018. Since then, it has evolved into Australia's leading Indigenous STEM charity, impacting over 800 schools and community organisations nationwide.
